What’s In A Name? Why Four Summers?

Any of you who have known me for awhile have witnessed my grappling with what to name my business should I ever get the courage to step out of the someday cycle and move forward. You’ve seen the name “Crystal Impressions Photography” be thrown around…I eventually decided against that. Then it was Denim & Diamonds Photography. After a talk with my business coach I decided that may not fit my vision of where I was wanting to go in the future. Then it was potentially HailieB Photography…of course that is in honor of my two precious girls. None of these seemed to fit.

Then one day during 2020 I was feeling nostalgic. My eldest was entering high school. For those who have experienced that, you know that it is surreal to think that this tiny baby you once held in your arms is seriously entering high school. For those who have not yet experienced this, hang on! The thought entered my mind that I have four summers left with her living under my roof. Four summers to watch her grow and laugh and learn. WHERE DID THE TIME GO??!! That’s when I knew that it had to be Four Summers Photography. When I look into the eyes of every mom of every high school senior I have ever photographed, I see the thoughts in their heads. How has it flown by? Did I do a good enough job? Is he/she ready? I am sure going to miss them…

Four Summers Photography…because every memory and every summer matters…
